I feel like I have spent a LARGE chunk of my life waiting on Yale. I emailed the adcom earlier in the week about Indian invites (the same one who gave me feedback on my last app) and she said interviews will go up to the decision deadline and not to freak out. But, I AM freaking out.

Wow I also had early 700s, but they didn't say anything about improving GMAT. I did not retake, but focused heavily on current work and extra curriculars. Now I wonder if these numbers really will be the end all be all

I think the GMAT component is different for different demographics. Plus my undergrad has an unconventional grading scale and that’s why the GMAT became a more urgent differentiator. They gave me feedback on my story and positioning as well. Sent from my iPhone using GMAT Club Forum

I really think you shouldn't email the Adcom with questions like what's up with Indian (or a specific group's) invites. Doesn't look too good on you and may even reduce your odds. The way i see it is you bugging them won't help your chances but may hurt it. Why bother with the risk. My two cents for your other schools.

Yes I second that recommendation. Remember, each "touch point" is an opportunity to make a good impression or on the other hand to do/say something that could cause a ding. Be very careful and conscious about any interaction with the business school (no matter how big or small) in case it negatively affects your candidacy. Sent from my iPhone using GMAT Club Forum
