I wouldn't put too much stock into that, it's just boilerplate phrasing.

AT my interview/campus visit and adcom told us that they are "near the end" of reviewing applications. And that was two weeks ago.

My assumption was that they were near the end of the FIRST (pre interview) review, though, since obviously many folks had not interviewed yet.

Thanks, this is super helpful! It says calls generally start at 7am Central Time. If/when is there a formal portal update or email with the decision? For example, do they generally finish all calls by 5pm central and then do a email/portal update with all decisions?

There isn’t a set time. It just happens when they finish calls. But I would think it’d be sometime between 3-5 pm CST

Hello People,

I need some guidance and inputs. In R1 I only applied to top Asian and Canadian schools and have got an admit from all of them. This makes me feel I under estimated my potential for top 15 US schools.

Being an Indian, can I expect scholarship if I apply to Kellogg in R2? I am getting really inclined to apply in R2. Just wanted to check if Kellogg will be the right school for me.

I have done my graduation in the fashion domain from India. Currently I am working as Brand Manager of a brand launched a year back. I have total experience of 4+ years in Product Management, Planning and Marketing & Communication.

Post MBA I want to work in the field of Brand Development/Management. I do understand that US B schools are the best in terms of quality of education.

Hello People,

These “exclusive” invites happened last year. There was no correlation to the admission decision. I’m not sure how they chose ppl to go but many that were selected did not get admitted and vice versa.

Looking back at last year's forum, this doesn't really seem totally accurate to me. It looks like pretty much everyone who got invited to one ended up being accepted. Obviously not a deal breaker to not get one, but it feels as if getting one is a very good sign.

I agree it probably means nothing (I got an invite so it pains me to say that). That being said, if people get invited to dinner and then rejected and people don’t get invited and then accepted, the only thing left, if in fact the dinner has meaning, is Kellogg is looking for one more data point on us.
