1) It totally depends on your profile. If you feel that your profile is better than the average, then apply in R2. Or else wait for R3. 2) Yes, you can use your same recommender. but make sure your application is different. Your LOR is considered only when you submit your application.

Thank you all for this thread and contributing to this. It helped me find answers to quite a few questions I had regarding my application. However, I have a couple of queries remaining for which I request some insight: 1. My GRE/GMAT score falls within the range on ISB's website though it's some way off the average score. My undergrad overall GPA is around a 2.6/4 while my major GPA is 3.76/4. My 12th and 10th grade scores are above 90% each. Hence, I'm wondering whether it makes sense to apply for R2 or apply in R3 after retake of GRE/GMAT? Does ISB, like some business schools, ask you to retake the GRE/GMAT to show improved scores if they like your profile. 2. I worked with a Member of Parliament who has given me a recommendation letter of sorts on the official letterhead. Where can I upload that on my ISB application, since it does not have the option for uploading additional docs like other B-schools? On the recommendor questions, there's one which is - "Is there anything else we should know?" What are people's suggestions on how this question can be tackled? Hi. I wanted to ask about the application field wherein contact details of the current supervisor are mentioned. Does ISB contact them to do reference check? Asking this because I haven't told at my office about my MBA plans and it may create an issue for me. Posted from my mobile device

They might do once you're admitted (to PGP) for background/reference check. During the application stage they'll only email your referees.

You can write your GMAT on 1st January '20 in the morning and submit the PGP application in the evening with the unofficial score. Just make sure that you've instructed GMAT to send your scores to ISB before the exam (you are allowed to enter name of five such schools).

1. Apply when you're ready. 2. You've to provide the official email handle of your referee, you can't upload the recommendation on the site.

1. The most time taking part is the essays section. 2. Second most important part is your evaluation. You need 1 evaluator; so you need to make sure that your evaluator also has enough time to submit your ratings before the deadline. I mentioned about evaluation since it is one such component in your application which is least under your locus of control.

Hi, Your GMAT score is needed as part of the application. So the earlier you get done with your GMAT, the better you can devote your time to your essays. Here's are the things you need to focus in the application. 1) Without a doubt, you'd be spending most time on the essays as they require thoughtful reflection. 2) You also need to spend some time on writing about your employment details as you need to write about achievements and need to attach documents for CTC proof as well. 3) Similarly you need to have the transcripts ready while filling out the educational qualifications 4) You evaluators also need time to complete the recommendation/evaluation so do keep it in mind. 5) Keep the scanned copies of all the documents ready with you to speed up the process.
