I plan to apply for an MBA program starting Fall 2020. Can someone please have a look at my profile and provide your feedback? Thanks!

Nationality: Indian female

Work Experience:
2.5 years Business Consultant in Ohio State Company( Current) + 1 year as software Engineer in India in mid level firm (4 year till I join the school) + finance intern in current office part time helping in making budget , reporting.

Academic Qualifications:
B.E. in Engg. GPA - 4 (top colleges of India not as good as IIT's , topper of the class)
GMAT: not known aiming forr 750 +
List of Schools I plan on applying to: HBS, Wharton, Booth, Stanford, Columbia, NYU, John Hopskin, Booth
Extra Curricular Activities - Was moderately involved in social service activities while pursuing my Bachelors and inter college level activities as well.
Part of women organization dealing in mental health, human trafficking.

Post MBA goals: Consulting, Investment banking, mainly consulting.

I want to know is there any possibility to get into top programs?
The Ivy's are just 8 in number:

1/ Brown university
2/ Yale
3/ Harvard
4/ Dartmouth
5/ Princeton
6/ Cornell
7/ University of Pennsylvania
8/ Columbia

Hi expert,
May I know:
Why people tend to study in Ivy-league?
What's the special thing the Ivy authority offer?
What's is the chance to get a good scholarship in Ivy? Is it too much easy to get scholarship in Ivy?

Thanks__

Hello Harshita1993,

Thanks for your query.

On the face it, you seem to have a good profile, though, you have not shared any details pertaining to your achievements at work.

A GMAT score of 750+ looks promising.

Having said the above, the essays will be crucial and you will need to pay extra attention towards portraying your candidature in a way that sets it apart from the rest. The essays will indeed have a huge role to play in determining your chances. Thus, we strongly recommend that you get done with your GMAT as early as possible and spend the remaining time focusing on your applications.

All the best!
