Infact I would be OK with your situation. I would use it to my advantage implicitly telling them that Tepper is SO my first choice that I dint mind interviewing at 12. Just go with it would be my suggestion if your not an early sleeper and stuff....the interview lasts strictly for 1/2 hr. Posted from my mobile device

Quick question. Does anyone think this would reflect poorly on me; I scheduled an interview with someone at 10:30a EST. I looked through their admissions team page and saw I’d rather interview with another person. Quick question. Why did you want to interview with somebody else..? You know the adcom people..? It would be unprofessional on their part to dig that deep man honestly!! I would, just incase, anyways prepare a reason that might tickle the interviewers funny bone if they might bring it up. Though the chances are very very negligible for them to bring it up. No I don’t know any of them. I just felt bad about it afterwards but it would be pretty weird for them to dig about that you’re right. I was honestly thinking the one person’s hobbies were more in line with mine than the other person, that’s it.

Good luck to all the candidates in Round 2! For those stressing about the interview, definitely prepare for lots of behavioral questions, I actually felt the CMU interview was among the more challenging b-school interviews for this reason. I also did due diligence on the interviewers, and chose someone who aligned closely with my interests and backgrounds, so I don't think you will get faulted for changing interviewer, just mention it in the interview briefly perhaps, that the more you thought about the importance of this interview, you felt it was wise to pick someone whose background matched more closely, something like that.
