Hey, congrats on the interivew! When did you submit your applicant vs when did you receive the invitation?

Has anyone else received the interview invite yesterday or today? It seems they rolled out pretty less invites for now. Do they roll out invites at intervals? Getting nervous now.

I have received the invite. I submitted my application on the deadline day.

They do roll out invites in phases. Last year for R2, they rolled out 1st set of invites within 4-5 days of the application deadline and 2nd set of invites a month after that.

I had received an invite yesterday. I had submitted my application on the 2nd of October, & my recommender had submitted his recom. on the 4th.

Hi everyone ,

Hopefuls and alums of Tepper a quick question for all of you.
Do you have any information on executive assessment and how will it be counted as compared to GMAT ?
I am applying to Tepper with an EA and will be planning to talk to them soon.
Would appreciate some comments.

I am an Indian make with 8 years work ex and a Masters from USA in energy.
I do work for a Fortune 500 as a product manager and want to enter Tepper to accelerate my career in clean tech and learn leadership.

Two concerns I have

1) Executive assessment being Indian
2) Age

Please let me know what you guys think. I am only targeting a select few schools so I will appreciate an honest answer.

I would definitely urge you to schedule a call with Adcom and discuss specifics on EA vs GMAT

On the age side I can tell you is that you have to show in your essays that this is the right time for an MBA. Everyone has their own timeline and less/more experience only adds to the class diversity. Don’t dig too much into it, if you have decided to do an MBA then just go for it. All the best!

Did they roll out all the interview invites?

No I don't think so. I found this on their website

"Quite literally, if you are not invited to interview initially, you may receive an invitation any time prior to the decision notification date. The Admissions Committee (AdCom) puts no value on the timing of when you were invited to interview — it doesn’t matter if you were the first person to interview or the last person to receive an invitation. At the end of the day, AdCom is interested in knowing how well the interview went."

All Aspirants who have interviews at Tepper, the b-school almost asks everyon questions on adversity, ambiguity, difficult team situations etc. SO while you are preparing for the more straight forward interview questions on introduction, goals, why Tepper, achievements, leadership etc., do also have stories ready for difficult situations.
I have compiled some of the interview questions from the debriefs on GMAT Club. Have a look at those:


DIFFICULT SITUATIONS:
Tell me a time when you had to listen to an opposite perspective and agree to it.
Tell me a time when you had an unpopular opinion and how did you convince the group.
Tell me about a time when you had a disagreement/conflict within team
Tell me about a time when you had to make an unpopular decision? What would you like to take back from that decision?
Tell me about a time when you made a decision that faced resistance in your team.
Tell me a time when you had to make a difficult decision and had to take the team's buy-in

TEAMWORK:
Tell me a time when you had to work in a cross-collaborative team environment.
Tell me a time when used your industry expertise to help others avoid a mistake
A Time when you had to compromise for the team to succeed.
what is your experience working with a diverse team with different backgrounds from you.
Tell me a situation when you had to deal with different teams? What did you do what did you learn?
Tell me a time when you were less successful as a leader.


MANAGE AMBIGUITY:
Tell me a time when you had to make a decision without much information
Tell me a time when your lack of knowledge or experience presented a difficulty, how you handled it
How did you bridge the knowledge gap during the starting of your career?
Tell me about a time when your peers knew more than you did. How did you cope up with it?


LEARNING IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT:
A time when you learned from people more senior than you?
A time when I worked on some projects and learnt something unexpected/ non-intended?
Tell me a Situation when you had to deal with different teams? What did you do what did you learn?

I was wondering if interview invites are sent out in batches? When do you reckon the last round of invites will be sent?

People have reported getting interview invites on Decision Tracker.
Some people seem to be from India too
I got my application complete mail 6 days back... Desperately waiting for interview invite.

I have received an application incomplete mail, a grade scale is missing. It will take some time to obtain it, how much time will they wait before rejecting my application on technical grounds?

I have received an incomplete application - awaiting official transcripts (which I had already uploaded - not sure how it could be missing) after receiving my interview invite. Does this affect my interview in anyway? Interview is scheduled to be in the next 11 hours. I didn’t receive an email to reschedule either. I have uploaded the transcripts again along with the degree certificate under supplemental information. PS: I’m an Indian student.
