Can anyone tell me what to prepare for interview except the usual questions relating to MBA n chosen school n work experience? Should I do any of the current global affairs, american history, US policies or anything like that?

There were no out of the ordinary questions when I interviewed. That being said, more than at other schools I interviewed at really get into the specifics of why UNC. I made it really clear that UNC was a top pick for me (which it is for personal reasons). Another interesting thing that I saw got the attention of the interviewer is I made sure to hit on a few points that really defined my candidacy and backed those points up with anecdotes in my situational questions.

Not sure about all the calls. I got mine 3 days back. Deadline for scheduling the interview is 1st Mar. So I guess there should still be some days before they finish giving invites.
Best of Luck.

Need advice - Alumni Interview or Skype call.. which is better...

I think Skype Call is much better but only if the interviewer is from the adcom team. Alumni interviews are good too, but I do not think they are directly involved with the admissions process. Its all based on feedback. Suppose the alumni says "Both A and B have excellent communication skills". How do you choose based on this attribute alone? Unless you have seen both in-person, its super difficult if not impossible. The adcom has the power to directly influence your candidature.
But again if the Skype interview is taken by a second-year or an alumni, I would prefer a face-to-face alumni interview, if possible.

Note: This is purely my opinion, its obviously upto you to decide which is better.

There is nothing mentioned, whether the Skype is with Acom or current student... EA & R2 applicants, kindly help me understand whether the Skype was with second year student or Adcom.
