I emailed regarding fellowship letters and it seems if you do not currently see a letter you have not been awarded aid.

Here is the text of the email:

"Thank you for reaching out to UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School! If you received any merit-based fellowship award, it would be listed as a separate document with your admission's letter on the applicant portal. All fellowship offers were uploaded yesterday. If you do not see a separate fellowship offer when you check your status, then it means you were not awarded one at this time."

I thought KF would be more generous. Probably my goal (tech marketing) is not a good fit for the school?

I asked Mrs. Alison Hope Jesse and her answer was:

"You have until April 17th to send in your deposit. Your fellowship offer remains good until then.
If you are not sure about your decision, please wait until April to accept our offer."

Assistant director of adcom conducted my interview. She was very laid back and asked specific questions.

1) Why MBA, Why now?
2) Why UNC-KF? wanted more answers on that
3) What inspires you?
4) what do you bring to the team? what did you learn from it?
5) Any questions you have for me?

Since one week, I have been receiving mails frim adcom to connect with MBA studemts and they even shared a report of how the placements have been in the past 5 years. Do all applicants receive such mails?? I applied in R3 and have not received any interview invite yet
