Hi,

I am really hoping to get some reliable answers on everyday study plan. I scored 600 in my GMAT prep Mock (Q48/Q25). Which of the following is a recommended plan for 700+considering I can give 3 hours everyday on the weekdays (more on the weekends) and I have around 4 months prep time -
1. Focus on only 1 section (either from quant or verbal) at a time, complete it and then move on to the next. So the entire 3 hours go into one section for 2-3 weeks.
Or, 2. I divide the 3 hours into 2+1 i.e. 2 hours for verbal and 1 hour for quant. And, then work on 1 Verbal section in the allotted 2 hours and and then work on 1 Quant section in its allotted 1 hour.

I am following E-Gmat for Verbal and Target Test Prep/Magoosh for Quant.

Focus on both verbal and quant at a time

Initially when you are learning concepts, you can do one subject in a day. But when you start revising focus on both the subjects as you’ll need to learn to switch your brain to the other subject.

In advance preparation stage, start doing timed practise.

All the best

Nice strategies provided by folks above. But try and make your prep verbal focused 60% of time should be verbal
Start with SC as it’s easy to be improve and move to CR and RC will improve if only your SC and CR is strong
All the best
