Hi,

I want to know if the Magoosh Premium program is good to study if i am aming for a 700 score. My last & first attempt I got 600 (Q 35 & V35). Mainly i want to know if Magoosh program is good to study for the 700+ questions; i have only taken the free trial but their "Hard" questions don't seem that hard. I know it's a long way from 600 to 700 so i want to choose the best online course. Previously I studied on my own with some material from the GMAC official guide.

I would appreciate your input.

Cheers!

Before you decide on any course read the reviews first.

Magoosh is an excellent platform with a huge of variety of questions, including difficult ones. I would highly recommend it based on my personal experience.

Hi PedroHagerman,

Many GMATers become too fixated on the 'implied level' of the questions that they're working on - instead of what really matters: defining WHY they're getting questions wrong and becoming more efficient at approaching the overall Exam. It's also worth noting that just because a 3rd party describes a question as "700 level" does not necessarily make it so. Assuming that your current 'ability level' is around a 600, then raising a 600 to the point that you can consistently score 700+ will likely require at least another 2 months of consistent, guided study - and you'll have to make significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level.

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long ago did you take the Official GMAT?
2) How long have you studied in total? How many hours do you typically study each week?
3) What study materials have you used over the course of all of your studies?
4) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
5) When are you planning to retake the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

You might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi PedroHagerman,

As already suggested, to get some further insight into the various prep courses, take a look at the verified reviews here on GMAT Club. Regarding how to improve in quant, as mentioned, TTP would be an awesome resource for you. We are the top-rated quant course here on GMAT Club. Certainly, if you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.

Hi Pedro

My friend used magoosh online and scored 750 in 2018. She is now studying in Kellogg. I think magoosh is good. Good luck
