I would say I experienced questions of similar level in my both attempts.
For quant, be assured that questions will be of similar level as in your 1st attempt / OG 2016 / GMAT prep - so if your are scoring good in them, don't fret too much. I managed a Q50 in my 1st attempt and was targeting the same score again & not 51. Why this was important for me is because (a) having low verbal score in 1st attempt, I knew improvement had to be in that section (b) I was advised wisely by friends that from score improvement point of view going from 50 to 51 would have almost nil impact on my overall score.

just took the pilot today n improved v37 to v41.
sad part was I got q44 this tym around as compared to q48 last tym. so my score just improved from 690 to 700

Hey guys,
I visit this site nearly everyday but I have never contributed so I guess is time to do so. I am one of those lucky one percenters who got the invitation to participate in the pilot.
The score I cancelled was a 670 and that was back in 12/12/15. I got that score after 4 months of preparation including a live MGMAT class. I was aiming for a 700+, hence why I cancelled the score.
I didn't retake studying again until January (bad mistake by the way), so I'm adding two extra months of preparation as I'm taking the test on 2/27/16.
When you sign up for the test you HAVE to choose the order of the sections, so I chose Verbal, Quant, IR, AWA. Even though I'm not particularly weak on verbal, that is the section that I enjoy the least, so I wanted to get it out of way first and then focus on Quant, which doesn't bother me at all.
The real benefit of me writing this post will come when I post the results of the verbal section. On my last test I got V35, so if taking verbal first can yield a score of V38 or higher then that would be a good indicator that there's a real benefit to take this section first.
I will keep you guys posted.

Hey guys,
I know it's been a while but I never got around to post my test results.
I did take the test back in February in this order V-Q-IR-AWA, and I can honestly say that I don't think it made too much of a difference. In my opinion, you either know your stuff or you don't. My verbal score did increase slightly (from V35 to V36) but I think that was just pure coincidence. On the other hand, my quant score went down significantly, but I must admit that this time I did get a bunch of probability, combinatorics, and geometry questions, which I hate.
I'm getting ready to take it again in 2 weeks and I feel a bit more prepared this time; I've been scoring anywhere from 38-41 on verbal and 46-49 on quant on my practice tests, so I'm hoping to get the right combination to reach at least 700, but we shall see.
