Does anyone know if there is another admitted students weekend other than 7-8 April, and whether or not Mendoza has an official deferral policy?

This is the only admissions weekend. I went to the event last year and it's a crucial part of the decision process. You really have to experience the campus to make a decision.
Also, it is a great first place to meet your future classmates and explore the area.

Hi.
Just had an interview.
Very much fun and conversational.
Typical questions:
- Why ND?
- Why MBA at this stage in career?
- What are your focus areas / concentrations?
- What will you do post MBA? Where - Geographically?
- Any supervisor that you look up to and emulate? Why?
- How do you manage teams and what are you challenges in that?
- A small Case Scenario
- Was given a scenario and 5 minutes to think - questions were what factors you would consider and what questions would you ask.

It was interesting - specifically Case Scenario.

Waitlisted after interview. Really depressed as I was quite excited about this school. Anyone else sitting on waitlist?

I guess all good Indian candidates, who have applied in Round 2, are being waitlisted. If you see the tracker, you will get a pretty good idea about this year's class profile at Mendoza. My guess is that they have already got a good number of Indians from Early round and Round 1, and waitlisted candidates will be substituted as and when there are withdrawals from already admitted ones.

Hope for the best!

Your argument is partially correct.

Yes,there were a large number of indian candidates who got interviewed (and admits) in R1 this year.
But speaking of early decision round => I haven't seen anyone from india getting an admit in the early round.

Most of them who applied in the early round got a straight up ding or waitlisted.

For mendoza, R1 actually might be a better choice for internationals instead of early round.
I actually get this felling that ND does not admit a lot of candidates in the early round.
Again -> I might be wrong.

But whatever be the case -> The average acceptance rate of Mendoza is 40 percent.
Of the 692 applicants last year -> 280 got in.

Also the yield at ND is only 43 percent.
Which is super low for a Top 25 program.

So all the waitlisted candidates actually have a decent shot.

Cool Analysis, Stone Cold.

Not trying to make the situation worse, but here are my two cents on the WL.
Yield may be low or high, the schools know it - have fairly good idea of it. With the experience, they can also tell, with a certain degree of authority, if the student will matriculate there or not - through the file and interview. And then there are two catagories - one they really want (with flight risk) are offered some candies (read scholarships) and others are offered admits, who they think are in their range and will fit.
And in general, number of admits takes into account the yield.

So, what I am saying is, depending on school strategy (here the schools diverge a lot more) they may have huge or small wait list. Decent shot, yes, but it is because Mendoza is used to do that. Not (ONLY) because they have low yield.
Second factor, I think, that can be considered is how the school is trending on the ranks and industry trends. Upwards movement (think of Kelly, KF, etc. in last 4 years) would start using WL less and less and it is pretty possible the otherway round.

This is not to counter Stone Cold or anyone - just my thoughts on it.

Hi Surya can you clarify whether the dual degree with msba will be STEM or not especially since Iowa got its analytics concentration in mba to be classified as STEM.
The dual degree is a STEM program

Hey guys,

I'm writing this for the admitted students, especially internationals. I'm a current MBA student at Mendoza and was wondering if any of the admitted students need help with any further steps. Please ping me on whatsapp or call me at +1 646-203-2979 if there is anything you are curious about.

All the best! Looking forward to see you guys.

Best Regards,
Ishmeet Singh

Thanks Arun.
But if you see the message before you posted your answer, it is conflicting detail.
I guess, I'll have to wait till the day.
