Few people have got scholarship....as per clearadmit....this is not fair.....lower scholarship is the reason they have selected so many students in this round. If I have to do an MBA after spending 1.6 Million $, why would I not do it from top colleges, why would I look for Tier 2 US college. For me, Olin with no offer is clear no.

Few people have got scholarship....as per clearadmit....this is not fair.....lower scholarship is the reason they have selected so many students in this round. If I have to do an MBA after spending 1.6 Million $, why would I not do it from top colleges, why would I look for Tier 2 US college. For me, Olin with no offer is clear no.

Partially agree with you. But, not all candidates who applied to Olin did that for scholarship only. Quite frankly, a major chunk of applicants did not get admits from top colleges, so Olin is a genuine priority for them if they are planning to enroll in Fall 2017. Yes, those who have admits from any better-ranked school without a scholarship or slightly lower-ranked school with a scholarship will most certainly choose to withdraw.

P.S.: The cost is $0.16 million (You just gave us mini heart-attacks :P)

Hey,
Same here! I am from India and I submitted my application one week back. I spoke to few current students and they were quite positive about International students getting admits in the final round (I have heard otherwise from other sources though). Let us hope for the best:)
Also, any idea about the time taken by the admissions committee to send out interview invites?

Had the interview with Ashley Lautzenheiser. it was a quick interview that lasted for 10 mins only. she asked typical questions introduce yourself, why mba why now, 3 things you look for in choosing MBA program, what defines a leader, short term and long term goals and link between them, what qualities you possess that would be of value to your peers during mba. Then any other questions. I asked about restaurants, clubs, activities at st louis and olin and the internship opportunities.
She said the decision will be released on 5 May

Hello Everyone,
I applied in Round 3 and was interviewed on 31st March by Nikky Lemley. The interview was pretty conversational with all the standard questions and went pretty good. I was informed during the interview that my decision would be conveyed on 5th of May. So eagerly awaiting the decision. Anybody else here who applied in Round 3 but awaiting the decision yet?

Hi.

I too applied in round 3 and even I was interviewed by Nikki Lemley. The interview was pretty casual.

When the round 3 result came on March 22nd, I was put on the waitllist and they mentioned that the final result would be out by the next round (which I guess should be May 5th, like yours)
