I havent received an invite yet. Should I drop an email or wait?

A couple of people did seem to get invites after the first wave based on reported data from past rounds / last year, so I'd say you still have a chance. Whether you inquiring them hurts or helps your odds, I have no idea. Personally, I wouldn't email them unless I also have an update for them.

I was on campus today and while touring the new building with a current student, another visitor who applied in R2 asked the same question. The student ambassador said although McCombs doesn't exactly follow a rolling process, they do continue to review applications throughout the round right till the deadline. She said she received her invite last year quiet late into the round as well. I can't say if it will be another "wave" though. Good luck.
