I did the interview today at Kenan-Flagler. The interview overall was great, especially that in the beginning, the interviewer was very engaging in the conversation. However, things got a little bit weird around the end. First, I heard she was saying that "I hope you are genuine about your comments made on our collaborative community" but I could hear it wrong since the comments I made were good and were based on true interaction I had with the school. Then in the end, she said "let me share with you one of my stories and you will definitely appreciate it". Is that a dislike or no eventually or I am being over-sensitive?

So I interviewed during UNCs open interview period and am applying round 2. I got a call tonight from admissions asking if I was still applying and reminding me of the upcoming due date. Should I think anything of this (as in my interview went well), or do you think they are calling everyone who if filling out a round 2 app?

Definitely feel that means you left a positive impression. They would not go through the effort and make extra work for themselves (higher app volume) during a very busy time. Congrats!

Mail says, "The February 25 deadline to complete your admissions interview with UNC Kenan-Flagler is fast approaching! We noticed you have not yet scheduled an appointment and we remind you to register as soon as possible." I got confused since student-initiated mail cycle is over and this is the first mail I got regarding invitation.
