I think they will have a better picture after the deposit deadline which is on 24th Feb. and we can expect more invites after that.

I already made the deposit for Round 1. The R1 deposit deadline was before the interview for Darden. I was hoping to ask around 6th March vs the 18 March release. Basically, there are multiple R1 school joining formalities which I don't want to get into after deciding on the final school.

Hey,

I'm an Indian applicant as well.

Last year, a few Indian applicants got their invites on 21st and 25th Feb (Referred to clearadmit). Am going to wait until the end of this month before I give up hope completely.

Hope this quells your anxiety slightly.. It has mine.

I was interviewed by Adcom member in Early Action round. It was self Initiated interview.

It was very conversational interview and along the lines of interview experiences shared by other gmatclub members here. So there was no surprise.

1) First she asked me to share my life experiences in 10-15 mins
2) After that tell me about a time when you worked in a team environment.
3) Why MBA?
4) Why Darden?
5) What do you do apart from work?

Finally I was given opportunity to ask couple of questions. Interview lasted for 45 Mins and really enjoyed the interaction with adcom.

Does anyone know if Darden let’s applicants know of admission before the official decision date (18 March)?

Interviewed recently and thought it went well. I’ve heard of some Bschools calling before the decision date to notify some applicants.

Hey,
Based on my limited experience so far with schools this year, I have realised the application portal doesn't really get updated at all stages. So you don't really know if your application has been reviewed or not based on the status page of the portal.

From my experience, schools may not update the application status after the application has been submitted. I was admitted to an MBA program in Round 1 and my application status still says "Submitted" on the website. If this is your app status (and you have interviewed), I'm sure the admissions committee has already reviewed your application and is simply waiting until March 18th to release the decision.
