Calling all USC Marshall Applicants: (2016 Intake) Class of 2018!!

Guys, just have a quick question for you'll:

While sending the hard copy of the transcripts to USC, do we need to fill in the Form 3 : Transcript Cover Letter (which is essentially meant for the Registrar of your University to send the trancript to USC)? I will be sending the sealed envelope of my transcript through DHL and will not be asking the registrar of my University to do so.

Additionally, the form requires me to to enter the USC ID, which I will only receive upon submission of my online application. So, would it be okay for me to send them the hard copy of the transcript after submission of my online application, which would mean them receiving the hard copy post deadline date?

I'm guessing this would have been an issue lots of you'll would have faced during application and hope someone can help out!

Just submitted my application and got this:

If you are an international applicant, your "Confidential Statement for Financing Studies at USC" document should also be sent to the above address. Delay in the submission of any required documents may create a significant delay in the processing of your application.

But according to the guidelines we need to submit this once you are admitted?

Ohh good lord! What is this new twist in the tale?

I am sending USC a hard copy of my transcript and a scanned copy of my degree certificate (just in case).
I am totally unaware about this financial document.

Also, does anyone know whether we need to do the IERF verification now or only after being admitted???

IERF and hard copy of transcript are not mandatory at the time of application you can submit it afterwards as well..

Is there anyway I can know if my application has gone for review or has it yet not been picked???
The status is Submitted for past two weeks now.

same here man ! don't know whether they have even opened our app..

My experience with Marshall's interview invitation process was a little different from other schools.. You get personalized email and the schedule an interview thru email communication..
Don't worry about whether they have reviewed your application or not, just give it ~2 weeks from R2 deadline..

Applied R2, just got my interview today for February

Was the invite the same as spiceguy's experience? (personalized email and the schedule an interview thru email communication).

Yeah, they wanted everything done through email. Considering its USC, I was kind of surprised that there was no website to go through like the other schools to arrange an appointment. They told me that they were conducting interviews in the middle of February (provided no specific dates) and just told me to pick three dates and either morning or afternoon and send them an email. Wasn't sure when exactly was "middle" so I just the week before the end of February.

Options are either on campus or Skype

Any news on when the interview invitations start rolling out?
