If your official mock test is more than 620 you should take gmat again before your deadline.
By the way, what materials did you use for your prep?
Nayna63
I scored a 570 in my first GMAT attempt , which was lowest of all the mocks i had given. I m unable to find what went wrong. I solved veritas mocks and Gmat prep mocks where my score was always above 620.Please help

Hello Nayna63,

A score of 570 is decent, but not sufficient enough to get into a top university. All top ranking universities will require a score of at least 700 or above. Various possible combinations to achieve that score of 700+ are V37/Q50, V39/Q49, V43/Q45.

If we analyze the score of 570, we will draw out the following conclusion:

1. The basics are not yet clear, and concepts re-building is required. Hence, Check our free trial pack and free video lesson. Also, build your maths basics with our"Math Review" (5-hour lesson). These videos are for reviewing basic math, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and word problems.
2. Once you do that, a diagnostic test should be taken to check performance. For that we recommend you to visit https://www.mathrevolution.com
3. The practice of as many as questions is a must.
4. Learning of Quick and Alternative approach is a must.
5. You need to practice Up-to-date questions that meet GMAT trends.
6. A dedicated trainer to guide and make you learn the approaches to bring accuracy and time-management.
7. Expose to 700+ level questions is a must after concept building.
8. A regular mock test is required to check and track the performance.

GMAT is not as easy as we assume. GMAT math is logic, and GMAT verbal is a real test of English as a language. Also, do check for reliable resources for the verbal section on the forum.
