I am a private equity associate in NYC. Julie-Anne’s strength is getting the best product out of her pupils. She really encourages introspection and doesn’t let you stop short of your best work. To provide some background, I started my career in engineering and continued through a Master of Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University (NCSU) while working on energy development projects for both research institutes/agencies as well as utilities. I loved working with Nisha, she was very quick to turn around essay feedback and schedule calls with me. I mostly focused on essays with her but also got her advice on how to approach interviews, and reviewed many short answers on the applications. In all, I used about 10 hours of her services, about 7 were for essays and the application and the rest were for interviews. I did a mock interview for both HBS and Kellogg. The mock for HBS was great and very similar for the real thing so I felt very prepared.
