Do NUS need class X & XII marks? I don't see any space to fill up those data...Another thing is what is Registration Number / Test Report Form Number of GMAT? There is appointment number & GMAT ID number on the mark sheet...
Those who have been interviewed please help me with the queries..

I'm planning to apply to NUS in a couple of weeks but the stats on this thread worry me a bit. Out of 137 applicants only 9 received invites with 0 admits so far? This seems to be extremely low. Are people not reporting or is NUS actually so selective? Could someone shed light on this.

The school is extremely selective. It has got a decreasing batch size each year, since 2010.
I am in the same boat as you are.

Damn.
And here I was thinking that this just might be a safe school for me. But I guess there is no such thing as a "safe school" in B-School admissions

I just don't know how to react :D
I got dinged yesterday....but when I logged into forum, I was shocked to see that NUS rejected all of my peers too..! Oh boy! And i was hoping NUS is less competitive than major US B Schools.

My tough season ends here with rejections from everywhere...starting from Cornell to Tepper to NUS. I realised one thing very deeply...being an Indian IT guy..if you don't have anything super extra ordinary to show up in your profile, you don't stand a chance for top B Schools. So I guess it's only in my favour to apply next year with a stronger profile. I just had 2.5 yr of work ex!

All the best to all the other candidates.

Regards
Murtaza

Can someone help me with the essay 2- Considering the vision and values of NUS Business School and a typical NUS MBA class, tell us (in 300 words) what makes you a good candidate for admission. (Maximum 300 words/3500 characters)

i.e. how should I start & what all should I write in it?

For this, you should start by checking the vision and mission of NUS. Its there on their site. You can structure your essay around those words. The basic assumption while writing this would be that there are many Indian males (assuming that you are in this category) applying to the school and they need to filter out students. Basically, they want to know how you are different from other students who are applying. Your achievements, awards and how can you best contribute to NUS?

Guys,

Please help me out with this:

Under work experience section I entered 29/7/2008 in from date and 25/7/2015 in to date columns.

So in total it should be approx. 7 years work ex, but computer is calculating it as 6 years!!

Can someone throw some light why so?

I have mailed to NUS adcom since two days but have not heard from them till now.
