Just a heads up on the preview feature when submitting the application. When looking at your "awards" and "activities" descriptions, the tool is not listing the descriptions in order. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see the preview. I talked with admissions and they are aware of the issue but they don't think it will be fixed by the deadline. The assured me that they can see the correct description with the correct award and activity.

Folks, can someone clarify if for R2, does initiating an interview before or after submitting the application make a difference? I see that the R2 applicant initiated interview deadline is Jan 31/2020

There are pros and cons to doing an interview before submitting the application:
Pros - you do an interview and add more data voluntarily for the atoms instead of relying on whether you'd get "invited" Cons - you may not be fully prepared with all your stories by then
I would recommend doing the interview immediately after.

BingingOnNetflix will take over the control of this discussion from hereon. He applied to Tuck, Booth, and a few other US programs. For any help on this forum, feel free to contact him. But for now, congrats and wish him best luck.

I noticed a similar problem with the preview feature. The descriptions in the "Activities" section appear incomplete in cases where the input texts extend beyond a few lines. Did anyone else face this situation?

Congrats on the interview! Please see the interview debriefs. I completed an self-initiated interview earlier this year and found the questions very similar to what are listed here. I also found the interview resources available from MBAmission to be very helpful.
