I wouldn't worry too much--it's SUPER early days. Invites are spread out over a much longer period of time--I think it's rather unusual to have heard back already! During a info session with the Anderson adcom late last year, they warned us not to extrapolate too much from the timing of your submission, your scores, etc. to "guess" your chances of admission. They also indicated that *when* you receive your invite is not an indication of your changes of admission--that is, someone who receives an early invite is not "higher priority" than an invite a few weeks later. Obviously these statements would be ones you anticipate from any adcom, but they do get so many applications in such a short period of time, that I do think it's rather futile to try to analyze the patterns (equivalent to reading tea leaves, in my opinion!), and counterproductive to beat yourself up over not having received an invite *first*. After all, hundreds of people get invites, and hundreds are admitted, and there's no way all of their invites were sent out on the first day! Relax, and stay positive

Hi Alex, Congrats on getting an interview! My Skype interview with a second-year UCLA student took place a couple of months ago so I'm not sure I'll remember all the questions she asked me, but I'll try my best: - explain your academic and professional choices until today - describe your current job responsibilities - why an MBA? why UCLA? - give an example of failure - describe a situation of leadership - which role do you play in a group? - describe a situation when you had to face cross-cultural challenges/multiculturalism - names of companies for which you'd like to work post-MBA - what do you think you could bring to your UCLA peers? The interviewer was really friendly and interested in knowing me. She introduced herself and her own professional path at the beginning, and let me ask her several questions at the end. In total, it lasted exactly 30 minutes. Good luck!
