Calling all UCLA Anderson Applicants (2017 Intake) Class of 2019!!

I wouldn't worry too much--it's SUPER early days. Invites are spread out over a much longer period of time--I think it's rather unusual to have heard back already!

During a info session with the Anderson adcom late last year, they warned us not to extrapolate too much from the timing of your submission, your scores, etc. to "guess" your chances of admission. They also indicated that *when* you receive your invite is not an indication of your changes of admission--that is, someone who receives an early invite is not "higher priority" than an invite a few weeks later.

Obviously these statements would be ones you anticipate from any adcom, but they do get so many applications in such a short period of time, that I do think it's rather futile to try to analyze the patterns (equivalent to reading tea leaves, in my opinion!), and counterproductive to beat yourself up over not having received an invite *first*. After all, hundreds of people get invites, and hundreds are admitted, and there's no way all of their invites were sent out on the first day!
