Has anyone that applied in R3 still not heard back yet? I understand the deadlines posted may be soft deadlines, but I think an update on application status would be great.....especially considering R4 has started.... Or does Rotman not hand out rejections? :lol:

Hey Folks,
I have got the admit from both Rotman and Queens.
Rotman has not offered any scholarship (I guess because I had applied in R3) while Queens has offered a 15K CAD scholarship.
I am so confused right now! Any suggestions please ?

I am an international student who applied in R4. I know that it is bad, however I had special circumstances to do so. Fortunately, I have to spend 2-3 weeks to get student visa.

My question is the following:

Have anyone from R4 got an interview invitation? Or anyone from R3 with unknown decision (and no interview invitation)?

What do you want to do post-MBA? If you want better opportunities for top firms in finance or consulting, then Rotman is the obvious choice. If not then either school would do.

However, I do think that looking at financials may be a bit short-sighted. Where do you think you'd be able to have a higher starting salary out of MBA? That has a lot of implications for your entire career. How long would it take you to recover $15K if you choose Rotman? I think Queens has their average starting salary closer to $80K while Rotman's is closer to $90K.
