I have a general question based on some of the stuff I’ve seen on here.
Interested to see someone advising that Indian applicants should aim for a GMAT score that is 20 points higher than the class average. I have seen similar comments on other threads that advise Indian applicants to aim for much higher scores. Not really sure I understand why programmes would require higher GMAT scores specifically of Indian applicants (??) but anyway that isn’t exactly my question. My question being: does that expectation for higher GMAT scores exist also for ethnically Indian applicants that are not actually from India but are European nationals?

I don't believe that it does. The higher GMAT score comes from the pool of applicants similar to you. As a pool, applicants from India generally score higher than the pool of applicants from the US (mostly because their math curriculum for those that go to universities in India is much better than universities in the US), so to be in the top 1% of your applicant pool you need to score higher than someone from an applicant pool where the average GMAT score is lower if that makes sense. So if you received your education in Europe you would be compared to applicants with a similar educational background as you not with applicants from India. Hope that helps.

I called the number and they instantly offered me an invite On Campus, even though this was well-past the 48- hour deadline. This may be an option for any off-campus requests that are eagerly waiting to see if they are selected. If not, they mentioned off-campus invites go out usually between 4-6 weeks after Deadline date.
