Product mbaMission Mock Interview Sessions
Consultant Cat Ho
I worked with Cat both to prepare for an interview and through ongoing hourly services, and the experience exceeded my expectations. She is exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in her clients’ success. Cat communicates clearly and without sugarcoating, which makes the process far more productive and impactful. She is also extremely responsive and generous with her time, addressing questions both big and small with care and precision. She also does not waste time providing feedback in areas that are already strong. She uses time wisely to focus on areas of potential improvement. Working with Cat was a highly efficient and confidence-building experience. Anyone would be wise to work with her.

Consultant Susan McInerny
I worked with Susan through her full school package and applied to six Round 1 MBA programs. I was accepted to several top programs, including an M7 school—and I can say with total confidence that none of this would have happened without her.
Susan’s support went far beyond essays. She helped me navigate major career decisions, handle a challenging situation with a new boss, and shape a clear, authentic story and set of career goals I’m genuinely proud of. She has an incredible instinct for knowing exactly what you need in the moment—whether that’s tough love, encouragement, or perspective.
What truly sets Susan apart is that she made this entire process not just manageable, but genuinely enjoyable. I looked forward to every call with her. This was the best investment I’ve ever made, and I know Susan will remain a mentor and friend for years to come.

Consultant Jessica Shklar
Thrilled to share that I’ve been admitted to my dream program and received scholarship offers from two other programs.
A huge thank you to Jessica and the mbaMission team. While I didn’t work with a consultant one-on-one, I followed their insider guides, podcasts and YouTube channel religiously. Their free content is incredibly high-value and shaped my application strategy to a massive degree. If you are an applicant navigating this process on your own, do not sleep on their resources...they were a game-changer for me!
Jessica has been an incredible resource. She never failed to respond or steer me in the right direction, even though I wasn’t a formal client. Her generosity and wealth of knowledge are unmatched, and anyone working with her is truly lucky to have her in their corner.

Consultant Nisha Trivedi
Before I found Nisha, I had met with several other admissions consultants from other companies, and I left each meeting feeling discouraged. The feedback was either too general to apply to my specific circumstances or so it was so negative that it made me anxiously second-guess everything. Nisha manages to balance honest and constructive feedback with a positive and supportive attitude that made me feel confident about my career goals and how I expressed them in my applications. There were instances where we needed to scrap essay ideas and start from scratch, and Nisha helped me brainstorm ideas, combining my personal input with her expertise to land on essay topics that we both felt good about. The advice I received was honest, actionable, and personalized to my specific story and goals. In the end, I secured acceptances to 3 of the 4 T10 schools I applied to in Round 1, with some generous scholarship offers from a couple as well. Very happy with how everything worked out and I can't recommend Nisha and MBAmission enough!

Consultant Katharine Lewis
I worked with Katy as a reapplicant, and the outcome was a complete turnaround – I received offers from HBS and GSB. I’m an Asian applicant based in the UK working in finance, and Katy was exceptional at helping me translate my experiences into a clear, compelling story. She quickly pinpointed what needed to change from my prior application. Rather than reinventing my themes, she drew out the essence – clarifying my core narrative, tightening the structure, and making every sentence earn its place. She also helped me approach the recommendations strategically – e.g., how to support my recommenders with the right examples and concrete detail. Finally, her interview prep was exceptional – detailed mock interviews, follow-ups, and precise feedback that made me better each session. Between her insider perspective on both schools (as an HBS alum and former GSB application evaluator) and how generous she was with her time, I’d recommend Katy without hesitation.

Strengths:

- Strong expertise in top U.S. and Ivy League programs
- Highly responsive and efficient, especially under tight deadlines
Would make the product better:
- A brief onboarding checklist or timeline at the start could help candidates move even faster, particularly when time is limited
I worked with Rachel throughout my MBA application process and can highly recommend her. She supported me with my essays, résumé, and interview preparation, and her guidance made a real difference at every stage.
I was working toward a very tight timeline—only about three weeks to start and complete my applications—and Rachel was incredibly helpful throughout. She was responsive, focused, and very efficient, which made the process manageable despite the pressure.
Rachel is extremely experienced and has a strong understanding of what top MBA programs, especially Ivy League schools in the U.S., are looking for. She knows how to position a candidate’s profile in an honest and compelling way and always had practical, relevant advice. Nisha was incredibly helpful throughout the application process, helping refine my “why” for my essays and materials, and fine tuning essays. She also really got to know me and my experiences, and dove into specific stories to help pinpoint poignant moments to explore in my application. Her advice on school selection and organizing my timeline helped me optimize my time early on in the process too. I was lucky enough to be admitted to Kellogg and Columbia's full-time MBA programs with her help, and while I didn't get into Stanford GSB, I am confident that I put my best foot forward thanks to Nisha. Last but not least, Nisha is also incredibly friendly and fun to work with. I can’t recommend Nisha enough!

Consultant Katharine Lewis
I worked with Katharine Lewis for my Round 1 MBA applications and deferred MBA applications 4 years earlier, and was fortunate to be admitted to Harvard Business School, Wharton, Columbia Business School, and Booth. If you are thinking of hiring a consultant for your MBA journey, I cannot recommend Katharine enough!
What sets Katharine apart is her ability to combine excellent strategic thinking on applicant positioning with helpful writing feedback, and to do it in a way that brings out your authentic voice. From the beginning, Katharine helped me to identify the “through-line” of my life story – not just where I’d worked, but my childhood background, the choices I’d made, the relationships I’d cultivated, the passions I’d developed, what I’d learned, how I’d grown, and what leadership themes admissions readers would resonate with. I came in with a quantitatively heavy background across investing, finance and a high-growth tech startup, plus leadership experiences outside of work. Katharine was excellent at helping me translate my resume into stories that were specific, human, and values-driven. She is also willing to be honest when needed – I originally planned to apply in 2024, when I still worked in Private Equity, and Katharine was very honest with me as to the weak spots in my application, and recommended I apply one year later after making some changes. I listened to her and she was exactly right, and it was candid advice like this that ended up with my admission to HBS!
Her feedback is consistently direct but actionable. She’s exceptionally strong at diagnosing what isn’t working and then giving concrete guidance on how to fix it, as well as identifying the “spark” in a story that will make the writing come alive to the admissions reader. She also helped me across all aspects of my application so that my resume, short answers, and essays reinforced the same core narrative and complemented each other.
Perhaps most importantly, Katharine cares A LOT about her clients. She’s responsive, invested, and fully engaged throughout the process, and she always keeps the tone honest and fun. I left the process with applications that felt not only competitive, but also authentically mine.
If you want a consultant who is strategic, rigorous, experienced, and deeply invested — and who will hold you to a higher bar while protecting your voice — I recommend Katharine without hesitation, and with immense enthusiasm!

Consultant Jen Kedrowski
Strengths:
I think that Jen’s greatest strength is her ability to ask thoughtful questions that help you uncover what's really driving you. She went so far beyond just helping me put together the applications to really pushing me to think deeply about my career goals, my longer-term direction, and my own motivations. When I was vague or unsure, she dug deeper, asked sharper questions, pulled in things I had written or said literally MONTHS BEFORE, and helped me articulate myself better than I ever had. This helped me in more than just my essays, and her kind but truthful feedback in interview practice sessions made me feel less imposter syndrome and like I had truly earned those interviews.
Beyond this authentic narrative shaping, Jen was a fantastic help while navigate big strategic choices, especially around geography and school fit, which helped me get to my final school decision. Throughout the process, she was incredibly efficient, organized, and responsive, even while working across multiple time zones, crazy travel schedules, etc. Her edits were always thoughtful, fast, and aligned to my experiences and goals, which mattered to me a lot while juggling work, extracurriculars, and personal life.

Working with Jen was THE most impactful decisions I made during my MBA application journey. I came in feeling genuinely unsure about my chances and struggling to clearly articulate my story. I was fortunate to be admitted to my dream school (HBS) and to receive $200k+ in merit scholarships at Columbia, Yale, and two other programs—and I genuinely don’t think those outcomes would have been possible without her support. I left the process not just accepted into my top choice schools, but feeling more confident and ready to jump into my MBA.
I cannot recommend Jen highly enough to anyone who wants both honest rigor, a truly fun and genuinely kind person, who will be deeply personally invested in their journey. She'll challenge you in a gentle yet exciting way, all while helping you get the best version of yourself in front of the admissions committees.

Consultant Katharine Lewis
Katy helped me land offers from Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton – a dream that wouldn’t have come true without her support.
In our initial consultation, Katy surgically identified the strengths and weaknesses in my background. Furthermore, Katy provided pro-bono advice on how I can improve on these weaknesses. In our follow-up consultation, when I shared the baby steps I had taken, I could tell that she was exhilarated from the bottom of her heart, not because I was more likely to become one of her clients, but because I utilized the MBA application process as an opportunity for personal development.
Katy soon became a great friend of mine. I felt comfortable sharing every bit of my stories with her, whether the happy ones or the sad ones. Katy was always a loyal audience of these stories and would encourage me to conduct in-depth introspection on them. The abundance of available stories eased the stress of essay writing. Then, Katy would use her profound literary skills to construct the ethos and polish the verbiage to appropriately address each school’s unique prompts.
The continuous self-discovery I achieved under Katy’s coaching, combined with her methodical interview prep, bolstered my confidence walking into the three schools’ distinguishable interviews, ultimately resulting in the admission results I have been dreaming of.
I highly recommend anyone to work with Katy, who will make the MBA application a life-changing process with life-changing results.
