I remember the Adcom member at an MBA fair in Hyderabad specifically tell a bunch of us that the expected score is 730 for Indians. We enquired further and she gave the expected " this is the average. Not a cutoff " answer. Make what you want out of it ved09

I don't think that's the case. I'm an Indian with a 710 score and I received an invite.

Current UNC MBA here. UNC does not have a 720 or 730 cut-off for international applicants so no need to worry about that. I will say, median GMAT is 700 and I think it would be 710 for most international students but a slightly lower GMAT for an otherwise stellar application will still get you in the door. Best of luck!

Hello,

Curious to know if there's a possibility to still receive an invite to interview? I'd applied in R2 and the R2 deadline is just around the corner so wondering. Also, if the application is not selected, would UNC send a final decision email stating the same? I don't see anything on the application portal as yet. Thanks!

Yeah, they will send an email with either a denied or a waitlist decision.

I came to the school for their weekend event this weekend and seems like they've already sent out interview invites to everyone they wanted to. Decision date is 2nd March for round 2 so if you do the math, there's a very remote, if any, possibility of getting an invite for round 2 now

Yeah definitely. The people are much nicer than one would expect at a top 20 school. The event was organized really well and had a session which was really different from those at other schools - it was about organizational and personal behavioral as a subset of leadership. So everyone got really real and vulnerable. I've been to Simon, Vanderbilt, Foster, Mays as well and I liked the feel of UNC and Vanderbilt the best.
