Had my interview half an hour back! I was a nervous wreck but the interviewer was nice and tried to build my confidence throughout. Standard questions like Why MBA? Why Olin? What are the three things that I look for an MBA? etc., were asked. An ethical dilemma that I had faced and a useful feedback that I had received from someone were some of the other questions. It went on for 35 minutes... Hoping for the best

There is no way to open your application right? I actually wanted to open my application and go through it before the interview.

Hi All,

Just had my interview and it was a bit weird I must say. It went on for only 20 mins. Interviewer looked more nervous than me and never smiled once even though I was smiling all the way. Surprisingly he did not ask Why MBA and Why Olin, which I thought were mandatory questions for Olin as they themselves highlighted in one of their seminars on admission. At last, interviewer said hope to see you in summer - which was probably the only positive thing in the interview.

Lets see how it goes!

HI.
May be at some point of time there was. But there isn't any more. Just an option to update supplementals.

Hi everyone,

I had applied to the Olin Business School for Round 1 and was wait listed. I had sent a follow letter and after many days of waiting there has been a reply from the AdCom. The associate director of recruitment, Ashley Lautzenheiser, emailed me mentioning to schedule an interview regarding my application and the wait list process.

I don't know how I should look forward at this situation, should I treat this as a normal interview or whether it will more of an informal discussion, and what should be the main points to discuss about in the session. Experts please help me out with the situation. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Prepare yourself as you would for any other interview. No point not to. You have nothing to lose in this regards. If they are giving you an opportunity to interview, make the best use of it.

Straightforward interview. Conversational. 10 questions each about a 90 seconds and then I asked 4 questions. Discussed on the same.
25 mins overall. The questions asked were similar to the ones in the earlier debriefs.

I don't know what to make out of it but let's wait until March 12th

Does anyone know when decisions will be released? Some schools seem to roll everything in one batch. Was wondering if Olin had a procedure they do and a day to look for it.

imlookingfortips 12th March. Olin releases the results either on the decision date or just one day prior.
