Congratulations, tyildirim92, on crossing that 700 threshold. I, too, have been following your progress, your well-thought-out queries to questions, for some time now. In fact, we have crossed paths somewhat often, under my former alias (MentorTutoring). I like the terseness of your advice here. So simple, yet it is often such advice that proves most effective. Since you entitled the post "first attempt," does that mean you will give the exam another go at some point? Do you have a particular goal or target score in mind? If I can offer any free advice on how to get there, you know how to find me.

Well done on this effort. (I just happened to see the verified score in a Quant thread you had posted in, and I immediately checked your posts.)

How to study?

Quant: Bunuel's Quant Megathread is more than enough to grasp the topics and details. Reviewing the Manhattan Series is a big plus. GmatClubTests' quant is quite similar to the real exam.

Verbal: Stick with the official material only.
RC: Do have multiple strategies. Take notes if you find it necessary. Read as much as you can to accelerate your speed.
SC: Stick with the OG material, understanding the meaning of the sentence is of most importance, read experts' replies to the OG questions.
CR: Make sure you get used to the question patterns, read experts' replies to the OG questions.

Before the test day: relax, believe in yourself, you studied a lot to ace the GMAT. ;)

Test day: read the exam rules carefully. try to start with the section that you feel comfortable with the most. follow your break times. remember that every time you enter the exam room, the staff will request you to submit your palm print.

Goodluck.

Congratulations Brother :) I am eager to hear from your journey in details! I like to follow your SC explanation! Most importantly, I believe, you have enjoyed this journey . That's quite motivating for me to stick on this journey! Best of luck for the rest of your journey!

My target MBA schools are Canadian ones and my score is well above average. If everything goes well, I guess I will get admitted soon. Though I think I can score more (especially in quant) if I retake it, at this stage, I can't see any reason to do so.

Soon I will expand on the content of this post. I will add all my bookmarks and sort them according to the question types and difficulty level. Hopefully, it will benefit all.

You are on the right track. I did enjoy this journey. To be frank, I still post on SC threads. Yet, admittedly, SC in the real exam was painstaking. Good luck with your studies.

I hope the admits start flowing. My experience with Canada as an outsider has always been positive, and I have even pondered an eventual move there, from Nova Scotia to Vancouver. I agree with you about the GMAT™. Sure, you know you have it in you to probably do better, but so what? If you get into school anyway, and especially if you get some sort of financial assistance, what difference will that make?

I look forward to reading the expanded version of this thread. Thank you for your commitment to the community. Others do take notice.
